D/FW Texas | Greetings from D/FW Texas!
I am VERY interested in a Vision Street - and am signed up for next week's factory test ride in Arlington. However, the Victory dealer situation here in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area has gone from bad, to down right pathetic. I stopped into the Arlington store last week and learned that the Plano store was no longer open - which means there is only ONE Victory dealer servicing this local market. But to make it worse, the salesperson I talked to told me that currently, there's not even a Victory sales rep for this area!
If the test ride impresses me, I would be willing to place an order on the spot. But in light of the dealer situation, my first thoughts are that making the investment would be too risky - especially since I don't do my own wrenching and the inevitable first-year bugs that are going to pop up with the bike.
Does anyone else share my concern? Is there something I'm missing or any rumors of another dealership opening up in this area?

SC, Bluffton | Yeah, I am sure you can find a good local mechanic who likes all bikes. If you
need warranty work done though, I suppose you would need a Victory dealer.  |
