OK if you have seen my posts you know that I am not an average rider in any way I am the Big guy as in 6'10" and 400 lbs that said I have contacted my friend that owns Black Diamond Customs and he wants to build me a custom seat for the Vision. Problem: I don't really want to give up riding for a while so I am looking for a seat pan. Don't need the padding or the foam or the heaters I would love to find a seat that got trashed or something it would be even better if I could get the the passenger back pan as well. If I can find one and get a seat built I will share pictures and experience with you all. So if some one has one they would be willing to donate or sell me for a resonable price please let me know. I have done this several time before as I have never had a stock seat that would stand up under my weight. Thanks for your help Archie

Looking for something fairly rare. With the Vision being so new I kinda doubt anyone has a worn out or damaged seat yet. I'd call around to some dealers, even the farther away ones, and see if they happen to have one they took off for some type of warranty issue. I know that a few folks have had thier seats replaced due to issues with the heaters.

Or another idea is to perhaps find someone that is putting thier bike up for winter storage for a few months and see if they would be willing to "trade" seats with you. Assume your seat is still in great shape? You pay for this nice "volunteer/donor" to ship thier seat to you and then once you get it you swap it out and ship your seat to them.

Your seat is heated....correct? You state that you don't care if the replacement seat is heated or not. Maybe find someone who doesn't have heat and swap with them. This way they get a sweet upgrade for thier part of the deal.
