Here in the desert our worst weather is the wind.  Today I was going to a friends house and taking my Vision.  The wind was moving out of the west at close to 60mph and I was going south - so it hit me directly on the side.  I did fine, leaning into the wind, while driving.  As I approached a stoplight and slowed down, the bike was pushed over on its kickstand side... THANK GOD FOR THE TIPOVERS (TGFTT)!  It was kinda embarrassing but I was actually proud of the bike for being able to fall over and not get hurt.  Thankfully I have had it fall on to the tipovers before and knew the feeling and just let her go...  She was righted quickly and off we went... Yeah, lived in Lancaster 40 years ago when I worked @ locoweed, the wind doesn't blow on the desert, Orange County sucks! Crested the hill heading West on the 10 near Palm Springs driving a 24 ft box truck, the wind was blowing upslope so hard the truck actually stopped for a second
