Approaching 30K miles and wanted to know if anyone has any good leads on spark plugs that can be ordered online so I can change myself, appreciate any help here or is it back to a dealer I go?
Peace,
PC

I looked for a while and wound up at the dealer. Be careful about crossing the numbers to other brands, I was told some bad info, luckily I kept looking.

just make sure it cross-ref to the dcpr6e of the NGK. I use the champion plug. Here are the Xrefs I found, but chekc it out for yourself. Also, there are many, not all, Harley's and other metric bikes that use the same plug, so Victory is not the only place to get your stock NGK.

Go to any autoparts store (Oreilly's, Autozone, Advance, Pep Boys, etc) If they don't have them in stock they can get them. They are not a special thing that only fits Victory.

Dont purchase the auto lite plugs as they don't fit. The nut on the plug is 11/16 and when u use the socket the socket doesn't fit into the hole where the plug goes. Our plugs are 5/8ths

I can understand if your dealer is like my "local" and charged me $65 for 2 plugs. O.O Of Higgins only charged me a few bucks for the same plugs and get all my business now. I like to help the dealers out but there is no need to rob me.
Did you call your dealer and ask how much first?

I went to Advance auto and was told the wrong crossreferance. Just be careful and do some checking before the install.

I've ordered from http://sparkplugs.com a bunch of times over the years and have always been happy-I usually try to get in an order for the car/truck/bikes to make it worth the shipping costs. They have the DCPR6E's for $2.98 each- I'm using some DPCR7EIX Iridium plugs in my Vision that I had on the shelf for my TC and they're working great-Brian

20 miles west of Chicago.
Sparkplugs.com has just about any plug you want. including the Victory "stock" ones, considerably cheaper than Vic dealers and most stores.

varyder, you called it man. Went to O'Rieley's and bought 2 NGK dcpr6e for less than $5 went home gaopped them to .9mm and had then changed in 10 minutes, bike fired right up and sounds smooth. Anyone can do it, don't get me wrong I want to support my local dealer, but come on $60 to change two plugs, really? Anyways, thanks again.
Peace

VT, will do, old plugs lokked pretty good, so far it starts faster, and seems to run smoother, will keep an eye on mileage, but mainly did it for maintenance and prevention purposes. Will post mileage piece at later date.

Peace,
