| Well here are some settings Ive used on my vision that has improved the sound up to about 75 MPH. Bass and treble all the way up and The AVC all the way up..try it...it really works . Now I can enjoy my radio  |

Jasper, MO | Tried it. You're right. The fairing speakers aren't much to brag about, but with those settings and with both the fairing speakers and headset speakers going, it sounds pretty good.

San Antonio, TX | Those settings work great for me as well. One other setting I would recommend is to set the fader a little to the rear speakers.

| I also keep my volume up to about 9... any higher and the sound will distort as your speed increases. |

What headset speakers are we talking about? Also does this require a full face helmet?

Linwood, MI | Headset speakers that are used with the Intercom/CB system. I imagine you need a full or 3/4 helmet to mount them in. |

rhode island | Just picked up some powered noise cancelling earphones, connected directly to the ipod very good sound
with no wind or ambient noise at all. This system is made by phillips audio, the ear buds fit easily under 3|4
helmet. base responce is awsome!

Woodland Hills, CA | I too managed to figure out the same settings. I ride with earplugs which cuts most of the wind noise, and allows me to set the volume up to 20 or higher with absolutely no distortion. Give it a try. |

| I hate to break it to you all....Turning up the AVC simply makes your volume go up more at speed. It is the same as turning your volume up more... |

North Billerica, MA | Setting Bass, Mid, and Treble almost all the way up works well for me. I set the AVC to Medium. Coming home from work yesterday, I was doing 65mph in 6th turning 2500 RPM, Windshield up and full face helmet shield down. I was listening to Jesse Collin Young on my I-Pod, and I could hear every note fine. This stock Vision sound system is better than the one in my old BMW R1200CLC! |

If you are using a SENA headset, set the Bass and Treble all the way DOWN (left). For some reason it lets the little speakers in the helmet work better. No distortion at all. |

| I don't understand speakers or amps whats so ever. My AVR is on off so now I think a evening ride is in store to try out your tips.
I don't understand if I have the music set to loud on my ipod the volumeon the radio speakers is great. So how does that little ipod produce so much power. And there cheaper then a amp. |
