Lloyd actually did six pulls but I thought he was done after the third one and had wandered off to let people analyze the printout.  The reason these cams get better mileage is because I can now run the same speeds with the next higher gear.  The max speed limit around Spirit Lake is 55.  Pre-cams I would never shift to 6th until 60mph because it felt like I was lugging the motor.  Now I can shift to 6th at 50 mph and the engine doesn't lug and there is no drive train lash.  My mileage around here pre-cams was about 45.5.  I'm now getting 48.5 because I'm in 6th all the time.  In 5th gear I can now go down to 30 mph and roll out of it easily.  This also means much less downshifting in the twisties.  My mileage on the interstates coming from Memphis to Spirit Lake was right at 39 mpg.  Will post an update on the difference when I get home next week.

If I had done the rev-limiter bypass the HP curve would have continued on that path all the way to 6400 PM.  Would have been over 115.  I didn't do it because I need something to save me from myself right now.

Stage 1/Level 1. 43,000 miles.

Should have done the rev extender. The bikes rev wayyyy to fast with the cam package.
Have to be careful especially in first and second or you bang the rev limiter a lot.
I have not hit it once since he changed mine over.
Plus the gearing is different, first and second are more like other bikes. Not so low geared, get an extra 10MPH out of each.

I'm running Stage 1/Level 1, VFC III, intake plate, VMC 1 cams, 43,000miles.  Those are the exact same numbers VisionTex pulled with the same set-up later in the day.  A guy with a 2010 Vision,  Thundersticks, cams, VFC III and intake plate pulled about 105 HP and 112 torque.  He wanted the rev-extender but Lloyd doesn't have the software code from Victory yet.  Can only rev-extend '08/'09's.

It took me three years to get the cams.  Not having the rev-extension will give me something to shoot for next year.  Just between me and you guys, my wife doesn't know I got the cams.  :-)

LOL... You should tell her that you had major safety concerns with merging with traffic and needed more power to feel confident.

Alas! I found my excuse, I mean the justification to get cammed!

Here's how it will go down.  I'll take her for a ride, out to dinner and when I hit the onramp, I'll turn around and yell "Wow Baby, are you losing weight!?  Doesn't even feel like you're back there!"  It's all in the presentation.

Hey Songfan, I think you are referring to my vision.  LLoydz's dyno my came to 110 and 114, after the rev limiter it should go to 115/116 or so.  Here is the chart.

Hey Vin,

That was definitely you.  I never saw the final results, just saw one pull with 112 on the screen.  Be interesting to see what the torque does with the rev-extender.  You have a real beast there from 3000 on.  (The sound ain't too shabby either!)

Ah, Vinh (with an "h", got it.)

The ride home was heaven.  Never even turned on the radio.  Rev-extender for me next year.  I have a feeling I won't be calling it the "No Tickets Tour".

Look forward to hooking up again someday.

Three year old Canon Elph digital camera set to Video mode.  I also used it to shoot the Push Mountain video on the home page.  I like it because I can turn it on, shoot one handed and tuck it away in a pocket very easily.
