Just wondering if anyone knows of a company who has reupholstered the stock heated seat and passanger backrest in smooth leather? If so can you pass on the company contact information and share what the approximate cost was?

Thanks!

Well as you know Corbin offers a new seat but other than that I have talked to Mark Hart of Hartco seats and he is looking for some people who want to do a few different kinds of seats for testing before he offers a seat to the General public. Catch is that you have to send your seat pan to him and he will build from that. I don't know the cost of the GA seat but he ahs been resonable over the years I wll keep the board posted as we work thru te bugs. Archie

I use a local place that does boats and motorcycle seats. He'll even trim out the seat for you if you want to mod it some. He'll even do the fancy or plain, you pick. If you're in the Petersburg area let me know.

Where are you located? I have someone here in southern California who is really good, but you need to take your seat to him.

This is a place that is 5 minutes from my house, they have received a lot of attention since his work has been shown on American Chopper.  He installed a ProPad in my Vision's seat and I have been very happy with it.  I am considering having him recover my seat with leather in the future, but that kind of work can get pricey if you use any of the exotic skins that he carries.

 His phone number is: 847-265-9378

Crawford has it on his seat. Looks great. If you check out his gallery you can get the Vision Pilot logo he uses and take it to your upholsterer. He said he also it in some kind of Adobe Illustrator format that he can send.

I haven't seen him post in a while, so I'm not sure how long it would take to get a reply from him.

Anyone sat on a Corbin seat? They have a much harder/firmer seat than normal.
I think the Vision seat is much more comfortable than Corbin's, however,
The Arlan Ness Vision Street model has the Corbin made seat.

I had a Corbin dual touring saddle on my Hammer. It is indeed harder than the stock seat (even the Hammer seat). I think the stock Vision seat is much more comfortable.

Guys,

Thanks for all of the input on where to get the seat and passanger backrest recovered in leather. I am located in MN and it is not an issue to send the seat/backrest out.

If anyone has pics please post them.

Safe riding.
