It took a little over a month since I started installing the clear turn signals but I started and finished the job today. Right after I posted our weather turned to crap and my shop isn't heated. That and I was still a bit intimidated removing all those parts. I am glad I had the shop manual so I knew how to remove the dash.

Taking the speaker boxes out made all the difference between success and failure. Thank you to all who gave me the tips.

They look sweet on a white bike!

Congrats Larry,
Are you keeping the stock bulbs or planning on a LED change?

Yah, Yah. I will post some pictures tonight when I get home. My social calender has been a bit full this weekend with my oldest grandson's birthday party.

Painted by Sue Hopper. She runs Signs and Wonders by Sue. She has been painting all over the US for 25+ years.

where did you buy them? what was difficult about the install? Are the wiring harnesses the same as USA models?

I bought them at my local dealer. I looked up the part numbers on the polaris parts website. Took about a week to get them in.

The install takes a little time to figure out just what you have to do to remove the old one. You have to remove the windshield, dash, mirrors speakers, speaker domes just to get 2 bolts out of the turn signals. Then you have to have a third knuckle on two fingers to get the outer bolt out of each side. Have several 10mm sockets and a 10mm wrench before you start. Have several extension lengths and a knuckle extension as you have to experiment a little to get the right length extension. Once you get the 4 bolts out holding the turn signal out you just have to unhook the lights and carefully take it out.

I would recommend downloading the service manual to aid in removing the dash. It is easy but you swear it is going to break in half before it pops loose.

The electrical is the same as stock. I bought extra bulbs not knowing that the new ones come with all the bulbs already.

I took pictures as I tore the bike down so I could. Go back and see what it looked like before I tore it apart. Also, have a table setting next to the bike so you can organize the parts and bolts to help in reinstalling them.

Lastly, put a blanket over the console and engine sides and have a stick magnet handy. You will need it to chase down any bolts you might drop. I spent a few minutes looking for one bolt that I dropped. Never did find it and I am not strong enough to tip the bike upside down and shake it.

I love your animated gif file! Makes me want to learn how to do that. Can you send me a PM with some idea how to do this?  Thanks!
