Hey Gang:

Has anyone came up with a cover for the Dash to stop the windshield reflection yet?

Thanks

Black paint or cover the dash panel with a dark colored plastic. If you are talking about the instrument cluster bezel you can try black paint on it as well.

I painted mine the same color as the bike, it looks good and solved the problem.

Excellent idea for someone to start making.  I had one on my Wing that some industrious Wing Rider saw a need and started making them.  I think he ended up being a pretty busy camper with his side venture.

I'd buy one in a minute if I could find one for the Vision!

What happens if you just put a mild tint on the windshield ? Like in a car.

I've covered mine with black 3m wrap that's used to wrap cars. There are some photos in the gallery. There's a slight pattern to the wrap that some say give it a bit of a carbon fiber look. There have also been someone that wrapped theirs with a printed pattern wrap that you can pick up in some auto supply stores.

Yes, it's very easy to remove, and once off it was pretty easy to apply the wrap.

Like others, mine is painted black to match my bike, and I have never had a reflection problem.

FYI you can have your dealer order the black version from VIC that goes on the Ness Vision. Problem solved.

I powdercoated mine black. I would do it again in a heartbeat. No problems at all with glare-----Metalguy

Thanks Guys, I really don't want to paint my console. There has got to be an easier way. I need to make a pattern that will cover it & cut out some type of thin rubber that will stay there.
