| it use to work just fine. Its a 5th gen nano. It plays but not the eay it should HELP now only one speaker works song titles don't shop up on dash can not change songs from any button. |

New Bohemia, VA | okay, but I will say this about, I replaced my cable and nothing changed. I went to the pawn shop and bought a 4th gen, I believe, and it has been in the bike a few years now, no issues. Yes, I had speaker problems, stopping problems, changing problems, and the new cable didn't help. Just sharing my experience to help you troubleshoot. |

Orlando, FL | Does the ipod work okay with earphones as it was intended to be used? If yes, then it's not the ipod and a new cable might be needed. Otherwise, you're ipod is screwed. |

New Bohemia, VA | my experience with my ipod it was the connection in the iPod. I replaced my cable first, same issue. The ipod played fine on headphones and did all it was suppose to do. bad receptacle in the ipod, bad ipod. |

New Orleans, La, | I saw somewhere either on this site or in the shop Manuel that the 08 Vision is set up for the IPod Nano 4th gen.. I believe it has something to do with the software in the ECU. If my memory servers me right the Nano 4th gen was new back then or relatively new. |

New Bohemia, VA | True. I used an iPod touch for a while but that is what got trashed. Very erratic behavior that I blamed on the cord. If one is fortunate, an iPod gen 4 may be found at a pawn shop. |
