I have the install instructions done in a PDF format. The current file size is 854Kb so I don't think it will let me post it here so I am posting it on a remote site you can go get it from. If you have any questions please let me know and I'll do my best to answer them. I also have a video up there too.

Great write-up !! Nice HUGE pics !!! Now you need to post the link in the Tech Reference section here on the site.

Have a question about the movie of the lights in action...the "flashing" of the lamps. Are they flashing because you turned on the hazards? Or do they flash as part of the brake lamps?

They flash as part of the braking function. I hope it will attract more attention to me stopping. If I press the brake and let off then press it again the flashing sequence starts over 3 times then solid. They also flash with the hazards...

Found the kit on the web. Did you use the existing bulbs or did you have to change them?

It uses the existing bulb. For running lights it runs them at a lower voltage and goes to 12v when needed for blinkers, or brakes. I think I paid $52 for mine.

That is a slick installation. I've got to get that. I've wondered since I bought the bike why they didn't connect the trunk lights to the signals and the brake lights. That should greatly improve the visibility and visual appeal of the bike.

Thanks! I'm on it. All I need is the time to do it. Any guess on how long it took?

Well I just spent the afternoon installing this. Not easy....but not overwhelming. I like how the trunk lights flash when the brake is applied and I do believe that this will increase the visibility of the bike when turning or stopping.

Thanks again for a great write up and photos!

Sweet!! Since you have been my official 1st tester of the documentation what changes need to be made to make it easier to follow? Let me know and I can make any changes and re-upload the document for others to follow. I would like to see lots of visions running down the road a little safer..

I hope to install mine this coming weekend if my controller arrives in time. Plan on letting people know that we can install it at the shop after i do my bike and get the time down to a minimum.
