Coastal , NJ | For those of you looking to replace your speakers , I finally posted the steps with pics. I know others have done it , I just figured an official reference with pics would help those looking to do it - hopefully. |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Nicely done Mark. Now, that you have them installed, care to give them a review? Do they have better bass response, higher highs, less distortion at higher volumes, better stereo imaging, more definition in sound, etc?
Old audio engineers like me want to know!

Sugar Land, TX (Outside of Houston) | Here is my review - DO IT . The sound is unbelievable at Highway Speeds (Like you are standing still). I have even had others behind me say they like the music I am playing.

Coastal , NJ | Rode for about an hour yesterday and was able to test the Cee Bailey shield and J&M speakers.
First - the Cee Bailey is really an improvement over stock . The distortion of the OEM shield ( at the top lip )is eliminated and it's really a pleasure to look through at any height. I did the 2fer special and picked up a dark tinted summer shield as well.
The J&M speakers are an improvement and I think they are worth the modest cost. I noticed slightly improved bass response. Mids and highs seem about the same or better than the stock. As others have said , they seem to be able to be played at higher volume with less distortion than the oem.
I'd reallly like to hear the Ness amped version of the radio to see if that merits the cost. |

Tri Cities, WA | Question? Is J&M speakers fully water proof like marine grade are? Becasue they do and will get wet when washing the bike or riding in rain??? |

Yes, there is notiecably less wind with the Cee Baileys. I replaced the tall stock Vision with the 22" Cee Baileys, and there was a noticeable reduction in wind, even for my passenger. As I have reported in other forums, the Cee Baileys is wider overall than stock, and for me, it makes a real difference. |

I have the Cee Baileys and J&M speakers, and completely agree, but as I said in my last post, I would add the the windshield also blocks more wind than stock. |
