DSmith - 2014-08-22 11:20 PM jeffmack - 2014-08-22 2:38 PM DSmith - 2014-08-22 9:42 AM It still looks like a Harley from the back, the Vision had a unique character, I like that and its what will get me to buy another. If you want the storage of a cross bike, buy a cross bike, don't try to make a unique Vision look like a cross bike. Or better yet why not just put a fixed faring, power windshield, and tip over protection on a cross bike then you'll have your perfect world. You will still have a bike that looks just like any other bike going down the road though. Now hear this, all customizers must close shop immediately, no more individualism or seeking to improve your ride to your personal desires will be approved. Thank god your not in charge of shit. Had to do it, good fun. No problem, I am glad to not be in charge of shit too. If you saw my Vision, you would know that I like to make my scoots individuals while not screwing up the unique character of the scoot.

so let see your bike

I would buy the kit as long as the rear vision lights stay the same. That big V looks great compared to the cross country rear lights

Yeah, I am really hoping to be able to keep the stock vision tail lamp both for looks, as well as to keep cost down.

Ok, the jury is in. A bolt on kit is feasible, but the grand tally with a custom fender, side panels and hardware including finding a set of used bags and using a few other used parts like the fender struts, lower fender mount etc, would still put the total price for the conversion at a minimum of about $3200. I really don't believe there would be enough people out there willing to spend that kind of loot, so I am not going to bother trying to do this as a mass producible project. Its pretty expensive getting the 3D modeling and scanning done to replicate it.

Go for it, looks pretty cool. Some will like it, some won't. Hope you sell enough to make a profit. Good luck to you........

It sure is. See the kickstarter on it behind the foot peg? Do you remember having to kick start everything? I sure miss that, not.
