Sicamous, BC Canada | I run a 2013 vision tour it is a great tour bike as far as I am concerned. When on a rough road I feel the bike very stable and smooth but my wife feels a slap in the back when we hit any sharp bumps. has anyone else noticed this or have any opinions on the subject

Pillager, MN | Not enough air in the spring/shock? There's a chart inside your saddlebag. Maybe it is bottoming out riding double and hitting a sharp bump???
I ride double almost all the time (and I'm not a little guy) and my wife LOVES the ride of the Vision. |

Houston, TX United States | I agree, me and the Miss went riding a while back and I noticed that we were hitting pretty hard every time we hit a big bump or hole, once we got home I checked the pressure and sure enough it was pretty low, added some air, have not had it hit hard anymore. Makes a big difference. |

Pittsburgh, PA | im glad someone else mentioned this... i personally have been monitoring my air shock for a very long time. and i still get told the same thing.. and what was weird is, when went to the dark side she said she felt it a little less.. BUT i have another issue that she doesnt complain about... i just noticed she does this lot.... she is always taking her feet OFF the floorboards and extending them forward.. she said her knees ache from riding on the back of the vision..... i was wondering if there was a LONGER FLOORBOARDs so she could make extend her knees beyond 90 degrees ? |

Sicamous, BC Canada | Thanks everyone for your input. I monitor my air pressure and set before each ride so I am not sure its to little air tho I may be running to much air over compensating maybe. I also notice the wife dangling her feet quite often as well so thanks for the foot peg tip. we will keep trying various things till we get it figured out. Oh and anyone that is reading this don't be using my comments to judge the Vision. I have ridden Hondas, Yamahas, Kawasakis, Harleys, through the years and the Vision is one of the coolest bikes I have ever had. We enjoy it overall just have a couple little things to figure out.
