I have 25,000 miles on my Ness top filter.  I've never checked it or cleaned it or replaced it.  Should I be doing something to it?  How long does it last, can it be "cleaned" like a K&N or do I just replace it, if so when?

No such thing available; such as what Arkaineze posted regarding the cleaning of it. Unless you look in the service manual on how to remove the radio. That's the major chore of it.

1. Open both fuel and accessory compartment doors
2. Remove lower console V plate
3. Remove instrument console bezel
4. Remove radio console cover
5. Remove radio assembly
6. Disconnect and remove all that crap under it; that is routed over the top and sides of the air filter.
7. Remove air filter and clean
8. Reassemble everything in reverse order
0. Go take a long ride, you earned it.

I was curious, who installed your Ness filter (s)?

thanks WillTill, I changed it out earlier and your instructions were very helpful.  All went well.
