Spring Hill, Tennessee | Service manual says to remove right side brake caliper, but not left side. My question is "why do I need to remove the right side?". Seems by just looking I could remove the wheel without taking either caliper off? Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks in advance. |

| Changed mine never removed the calipers just need to spread them open enough to get every thing back in.

New Bohemia, VA | Durn, I've been doing it all wrong all this time. I take off both calipers each time I remove the wheel. Now there's approximately 2hrs of my life I'll never back considering it takes about 3 minutes each time |

Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | I changed my brake pads and rotors last week. I did not remove the calipers. I did remove the front fender because I left the bike low to the ground on the stand. I have removed the front wheel in the past without removing the fender though. Not sure why the manual says to remove those parts. |
