| Please, I know some of the guys that run Car Tires on Visions
has installed a trailer hitch. My question is to those guys.
Is there an advantage between a hitch doc or bushtec trailer hitch
considering tire clearance.

| I don't have a hitch sorry. But I have read you want a 185/50-16 tire it gives you 1/4" more clearance on each side for the trailer hardware |

Anderson, IN (48mi NE of downtown Indianapolis) | I am not using a CT, but I do have a HitchDoc hitch. The hitch sits close to the saddle bags and the steel members are very thin where they pass by the tire resulting in as much clearance as possible. It appears to me that a narrow CT would fit, but cannot say for sure. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I hope this at least gives you a bit of info on the hitch. |
