| Ok guys and Gals !! I have a 08 Vision that has 7500 miles on it and stock tires. Noticed this past weekend that the Front tire is Crowning. Its not wearing evenly. Tire pressure is ok. I did take it to the shop and asked about the front wheel bearing being bad so they checked it and said nope that its good and tight. So my general question is has anyone else had this issue with the front end ? Never had anything like this with any of my other bikes.

Oh and to let most know that I inherited the bike from a very good friend who passed away. so tis the reason of the low millage. |

Brighton, TN | Yes, touring tire, harder compound about 1 inch wide in the center. As you hit the twisties the side is wearing down cause its softer, causing the center to rise up. You like to lean, so you find out early about the compound of the Dunlops. |

| The tire pressure on the front is 26-29psi . side wall wise heck its still got the the lil stubbies on them! So its not cause I'm laying the bike over.
I have had big bikes in the past "Kaw Vulcans 1500 Classic" and a 03Aniv Road Glide. Neither of these bikes did I ever have FRONT tire problems now rear is another story!!lol So any thoughts guys?

| You'll find vision riders run 40 psi up front and rear to get longer life out of the tires. You need to check them once a month more so in the hot months.
Less will bring on cupping and a shorter tire life |

Akron Ohio area | I've got 14,000 miles on my 2011 Vision's tires and the front looks good in the center but seems to be mildly scalloped just off center.
It now "sings" when doing the twisties.
My front tire looks like it could go 6-8 thousand miles more while the rear is nearing the wear bars.
I run 38 PSI up front and 40 PSI in the rear.
Make sure your tire pressure gauge is calibrated correctly.
I have 3 gauges that all are within 1 PSI of each other. |

Orlando, FL | 26-29 ain't enough pressure. So, your tires are wearing funny. My guess anyhow. Tires crowning, cupping, etc not keeping and monitoring proper pressure. I too had a Kaw 1500. Much easier to check the pressure. Yet most of the time I just kicked the tires and waited to notice a chance in handling! Now on the Vision I have TPMS. SO it's checked every time I ride!! But on my Kaw I run sport handling tires, so getting 7-8000 miles on a set of tires is doing well!

| maddmaxx what kind of TPMS system are you running please tell. I didnt know that the Visions had a TPMS.

Oh and I went ahead tonight while on my way to the Quaker Steak Motorcycle Cruise in and put the PSI on up to 38 but it still feels funny but It could be the damage is done its not bad but going to take some time. |

yeah, what he said. and by the way, 38psi mine feels funny also, that's why it gets no less than 40psi, usually around 41. |
