Noticed today on the Victory web-site that a 2 year warranty is extended on all new bikes...Different finance plans rebates, etc....I just bought a 2011 Vision last month and wonder is this 2 year warranty applies to me...Anyone know? I will call the dealer tomorrow and ask....Thanks

My dealer told me that all 2011's had the 2-year plan on them. He also offered to extend it to a transferable 5-year plan for $350 on the Cross Country bike I ended up buying.

My 2011 came with 1 year factory warranty, and a free 2 year extended warranty.

when i bought my 2011 recently i was told that the FINE print of the extended Free warranty is power train ONLY..... its something new polaris is doing .. to get the bumper to bumper warranty you have to pay extra for it.. my 2011 came with a 5 year warranty . 1 factory and 4 extended but i ADDED the total cover of the PLUS warranty. with out the plus you are only covering your motor and transmission..

Even my dealer was confused about this new warranty program.. and I wasn't 100% trusting so I called a few other victory dealer and.confirmed it... Basically they are making it look like more than it is.. and if you don't read the fine print and understand what it is , you have a false sense of being covered.

It really doesn't matter anyway... they refuse most warranty claims to begin with. They're worse than a health care company when it comes to warranty coverage... I have had a rear brake problem "fixed" by two different dealers under warranty. NOT!!! The dealers bled the lines as per instructions from Polaris, but they did nothing to trouble shoot the problem... I found the problem myself and it's been a battle getting Polaris to approve the "fix".

Yes... just shy of three months old. I found that the ABS Pressure Switch part # 4012399 was leaking (now gushing) out brake fluid.

Yes... just shy of three months old. I found that the ABS Pressure Switch part # 4012399 was leaking (now gushing) out brake fluid.

i had a warranty repair my first day! i rode it home and my turn signals stopped.. next day i went to the dealer and they replaced a modular piece and i was up and running. they said it was a NEW peice for 2011.. im shocked Victory isnt repairing your brakes. that isnt like your asking for paint to be replaced. Unless they arent happy that two dealers are trying to get paid for the same "fix" or same problem...

If you are on a "tour" adventure, which I was, and you stop in at one dealer and he says that the problem is fixed and you leave and get 300-400 miles further along on your trip and have the same problem... you shouldn't have to go back to the dealer who says they fixed it and sent you on your way... the dealer where you're at now should be able to fix it. Which they didn't... now I am 1200 miles from the second dealer and 1500 to 1600 miles from the first dealer... I should have to back track to get the problem "fixed" again. I bought a touring bike to go touring... not to run back and forth to a dealer who can't fix a problem. The warranty should follow the bike... not the dealer. And it shouldn't be my burden to have the bike fixed properly by whatever dealer is closest as I am touring on my touring bike.

kawasaki did the same thing with me years ago.. my vulcan had fuel system problems. it was "fixed" by dealer (A) month later more carb problems. i went to another dealer and kawasaki said they were not paying two dealers to fix the same problem and i had to go back to dealer (A) and get it repaired since it wasnt repaired right . "according to kawasaki". Kawasaki told me my problem wasnt with them. it was with the dealer that didnt fix it and they wont pay for the same problem to be fixed incorrectly. and they couldnt force that same dealer to do anything since they were independent from kawasaki.
