Midlothian, Va. | After all these years never had a flat but I bought a tire plugging kit yesterday and now I need a compressor so what are the suggestions and be able to hook up to the battery tender cable would also be nice. On a ride a couple of weeks ago and my buddy had a flat two blocks from the house. I could never be that lucky although I have been so far.

, AR United States | I bought a Slime brand mini-compressor that comes in a hard case from PepBoys, it has a cig. lighter plug, alligator battery clamps, and the battery tender type 2 pin plug also. I just can't get them all back in the case now that I took them out. So far I have only used it to top off the pressure on my tires. It got pretty warm just doing that.

Iowa | I bought the same pump at J&P Cylcles. I've never had to use it, but it will only take one flat to make me glad I carry it in the bags. |

Mt. Vernon, WASH. | If you swing by the VICTORY dealers, they have an adaptor that clips onto that evil looking stud in the glove box that takes a standard cigarette lighter plug, I use that and a jack to plug my phone in while I'm riding so it's charged if I need to pull over and make a call, it's tight, but it all fits in there. THen get the compressor from POOP BOYS |

Fort Walton Beach, FL | For emergency use ... I carry 4 mini cylinders of co2 and a tire repair kit. It's all I'll ever need and more reliable than the mini air pumps. If I ever use it and need to replace it it is 5 times less expensive as well. |

, WI | I carry a Stop & Go plugging kit and a Aerostich mini-compressor. I haven't needed them so far.

Ruskin, Fl | I have the slime mini compressor. I carry it together with a plug kit and a couple of other tools. Fits like a glove in the area of the tour trunk where you access the bolts for removal. 3000 mile trip in September, nice to know it's going to be there if I need it. |

Jasper, MO | I carry the Slime mini air compressor. We used it for the first time last year on our trip out west when one of the bikes ran over something that made a hole too big to be effectively plugged, even though we put two plugs in the tire. We were a long ways from anywhere in general, and a long ways from any bike shops in particular. NO cell phone signal on any of the 4 phones in the group. We plugged the tire as best we could and aired it up with the little compressor, riding as far as we could before it got too low, then stopped and aired it up again, repeating several times until we finally got into Vernal Utah and had the tire replaced.
That little compressor saved our butts and the cell phones were useless for a long ways across there.

Tucson, AZ | I carry the Stop n Go tire plugger with CO2 as well and have used it several times. Once for myself and 3 for others on the road....

NE Florida Jacksonville | I've gone to using Ride-On a tire sealer and balancing product. Took the weights off the rims and haven't noticed a problem yet. I do carry a small compressor in the well of the trunk that I bought at Wally World. It works fine at topping off tires. It's made by Campbell Hausfeld (CH.) |
