Today I had been out riding in the triple digit heat we are having here in Oklahoma. I decided to stop and see a good friend of mine who is a salesman for the local HD dealer. I pulled into the parking lot not to far from the front door. When to my surprise, I had seen this car following me on I40. This was a White Mercedes Benz. The man in the car asked me if I would mind him taking a picture of me and my bike and he really liked it. It seemed to me that he didn't even care about the HD's in the parking lot. As we all know it must be the superior quality of our choice of motorcycle we ride. This man was smart enough to see that in the bike.

I checked in on Facebook and receive a few comments from some others I ride with. One of which rides a Venture and his comment was if I had been there he would have wanted a picture of my bike as well. I did reply to him that he was just jealous. He later replied that yes indeed have a bike that does draw attention to itself. I did leave it at that.

I am always asked why I ride this bike and now this will explain it even better. Ride safe everyone.

People stare all the time. I had a guy and his wife follow me into an Exxon station and he asked his wife to take a picture. Being in Dallas I would have thought mine wouldn't have been the only VV he's seen.

I have owned and ridden my 08 VV since Dec. 2007 and to this day I still get comments like, "i've never seen a bike like that before." "That must be a 2020 model." "Who makes that?" and a host of others. Just the other day while riding across the Miss. river bridge I noticed a car keeping parallel to me two lanes over. The driver motioned to me to maintain my speed so his passengers could shoot a picture and some video. The VV is truly the rock star of motorcycles. A big part of owning a VV is answering questions and poseing for pics. :-D
