I did not have any luck finding the stage 1 mufflers for my 03 TCD. I took the mufflers off, measured the diameter of the exhaust tube end, did the math and figured out cross sectional area and put the same amount of holes in the edges of the internal baffles to match the total cross sectional area of the exhaust tube. The engine needs a slight bit of back pressure to operate properly so don't go hog wild, you can always make them bigger. The results sound like a deep vibrating rumble at cruise speeds and when a throttle roll-on occurs while passing other motorcycles it has a commanding roar. I also have a Lloydz fuel controller which allowed me to tune this bike to match the exhaust and filter mods. One other note: I had a moderate backfire situation until I replaced my exhaust gaskets with Lloyds. I followed three HD's south out of the Wis. Dells last summer and we went from the Dells to almost Portage doing well over 115 mph. I do not know where my bike shuts off at or I would have tried to pass them all. Thant's why she is called "Hot Rod".

Ride hard, ride fast, but above all ride safe and free...

You hit it brother.
Ultimately that is what I'm shooting for. Just a wee bit more power and a little more rumble. If I can't change the exhaust without paying for custom, I may just go to short shotgun mufflers altered a bit.
Thank you.

I've seen Screamin' Eagle slash cuts like these on a local TC-don't know what had to be done to get 'em mounted & integrated with the saddle bag pins but they looked & sounded great.

Did you ask Lloyd if he could fix you up with anything? Maybe he has set sitting around or knows of some others that work well?
