| I have an 08 Vision. I have been using my Ipod since I got the bike in 08. I recently purchased an Iphone 4. I have the most recent Ipod cord (the one that also charges the Ipod). Does the Iphone work as well as the Ipod nano 4th generation? I also listen to Pandora internet radio on my computer and my Iphone. Will Pandora work on the Vision with the Iphone?

| I listen to Pandora all the time through my phone on the bike. Although I am using an Android device. I see no reason why the iphone would not work. |

Ruskin, Fl | I sometimes use the iheart radio app through my iphone. The only problem I've found is I get a call or a text I have to hit "play" again on the device. Also if you switch to radio and back to AUX if will revert to playing the ipod feature again requiring you to push play on the Pandora app.
John, please let me know how the iphone 4 works for you. I also have an '08, but with the old style cable. It gives me fits. It will either plat for 4 hours or stop ever minute or 2. I get the stupid pop up on the phone that the device is not compatable. I went back to my old 3G just for music, but it's a pain to keep both updated.

"Charging not supported" problem for 2008 and 2009 Visions
Fix1: Some Vision-Riders, like me, have used the iPhone and iPod Charge Converter adapter with success. The link to get one is listed below. Thanks sjavera for the post on Vision-Riders.com for this cheap fix!

If you will need an iPod cable for the 2008 and 2009 Victory Vision, here is the old part number. The iPod cable for the Victory Vision iPod Power Cord & Console Link Victory Vision $49.99 Victory Item #: 2876116. This plus the Cablejive charge convertor is less money than the newer charging cable.
Fix2: The easier way to fix the same issue for the 2008 and 2009 Visions is the newer Black cable (part number 2877894) that will charge any iPod/iPhone for $99.99. It has a box in the cable that coverts the voltage and sends it to the correct pin to charge the iPod/iPhone.
You can also run the older iPod Nano's (Generation 3 or older) without a charge adapter on any Vision.
2010 and newer Vision's
Starting with the 2010 year model they came out with a newer radio and a new iPod cable (Part number 2877195). This cable will work with any 2010 or newer Vision with a radio. (Sorry it will not for the stock Vision 8 Ball, no radio)

Ruskin, Fl | Thanks Teach. I bought the jive cable thing. Stopped using it because it doesn't lock into the bottom of the phone for one. Second it fit so tight in th compartment I was worried about damaging the phone. I get that message, hit dismiss and a second pops up about phone interference of some nonsense like that. I have a spare older white cable off the old bike. Wish I spent the $99 before I spent $30 on adaptor.
