WHOA! Me bad. 'coerce' - not 'coerse' - sorry, Chickinman. And about the "loqacious dribble award" - I think that died when VARYDER faded from the scene. We just gotta be 'fullashit' - and not 'loquacious' as you are known to be ..... <grin>

I guess my question would be: What's wrong with the Victory 20W40 semi that is recommended for the bike ? Is it not good enough ?

Why should I use Victory Oil when there are many oils out there that will do the job just as well, maybe better, for 1/3 the cost?

I can tell you that the Rotella T6 full syn does make a noticeable difference in the tranny, far better than the Victory oil.

What about Amsoil ? i've never used it and don't know much about it but, people rave about how great it is.

I have never used it, I have also heard very good things about that oil. It ought to be great at the price asked for it.

donetracey, nice to hear you have found a trustworthy dealer. I have never found a trustworthy dealer to service my ride in all my years of biking. And my post "The Vision that couldn't" tells the story on the Vic dealers here in FL. I gave 2 dealers my bike and trusted them. Neither really cut the mustard, and they charged me up the azz. No, from now on my Vic gets worked on by me (on rare occasion) or to my independent wrench who has woked on all my bikes for the past 7 years. He EARNED my trust and KEPT it. His only business is fixing bikes.

Seems most dealers are more concerned about making a quick sale and a profilt in the service dept. Oh, and here's a big surprise......I never buy OEM if I can find it elsewhere.
