just read that HD will release 2012 models early, and I saw an 81er with his prospect rollin' south down I-95 yesterday. What could all of this mean?

I can't ever imagine wondering about anything HD does .... simply don't care.

They could introduce a new line of Streetcars or Pickup Vans - I still wouldn't care.

Well, maybe if they were giving away 2012 models - I would take one as a lawn decoration.

Man, I've still got Harleys and I don't really care. Unless they come out with a new engine: Say a 120 cu in, DOHC, 4V head, watercooled, single piece crank engine that say gets 45 MPG, Then I might buy another one. HA..... What are the chances of that ?? About ZERO................

Just saw a Harley Davidson press release about the 2012 models. They mentioned that there are other models on the way later in the year but were not specific. What they were touting is that all touring models now come standard with the 103 inch motor, like that's a big deal. No mention of water cooled heads........

I rode a 103 at the Demo ride this past saturday and it was no where close to my Vision, even with the preceived weight differenc, the Harley seemed much lighter in feel on the road.

You're right Cap they do feel lighter. The engine output is low: a stage 1 103 is around 75 HP and 91 ft lbs at the wheel. These are Harleys numbers..........
