Have just completed my first longish tour on my 2011 Victory Vision. 2 up, 2400 miles, 8 days, and 52 hours riding time. Vegas to LA, LA to San Francisco, SF to Point Arena, then day trips out including Eureka, back via Lake Tahoe. All Pacific Coast Highway (well as much as is possible).
Everything went well apart from a bag strap failure at around 85mph, luckily it bounced well and the traffic was light so recovered and resecured without any real dramas. Bike performed to expectations, the 8.5 hour ride from South Lake Tahoe to Vegas was a bit boring at the end (I95) but no complaints from the Victory. Fuel consumption was good, averaging 45 mpg, (when able cruising at 75mph). Didn't use a drop of oil (using Shell Rotella Fully Synthetic 5w40).
