Has anyone tried to remove the Orange & Black tag that is plastered on the fuel tank in front of the seat?

Yes, and it was a pain in the a__!!! It is very thin and tears easily. There are a few threads on the VMC web-site about this. Most recommend, and as I did, use a hair dryer to help while you peel it off. I then cleaned up the residue with Zippo lighter fluid, some others recommend WD-40. Take your time and it will come off, don't get to frustrated.
