CARTAGENA Spain | Hi all I have broken the screen on the radio and I have to buy a new and I've searched several stores and radio are not the vision of 2008 to buy online because I'm from Spain, but I have found the 2010 model, it is worth this radio on my bike or need to make any change because as I have to buy new it may be better to buy this last update. a greeting and I hope your news

I understand that adolfoch, you are looking for a replacement radio that will fit your 2008 and want to know if the 2010 model will work, correct? I don't know the answer and I'm keeping this thread alive until you say that you've got your answer. There are a number of vision riders who have done this. This thread covers that issue.
The advantages to purchasing a 2010 unit appears that the 2010 unit is a much better radio (in terms of signal reception) and your radio can be easily upgraded to work with the newest versions of the communication system ( satellite radio, CB etc).
However, this works to your disadvantage if you already own these other components in 2008 versions, your dealer may not be able to succesfully re-flash the units software to work together properly.

CARTAGENA Spain | If I have CB installed communication system but do not understand why you can not work with the radio in 2010 because I believe that victory was to have prepared their bikes for future updates. the price of a radio is around 900 euros here and as an example the change in U.S. talon worth approximately $ 190 worth 260 euros here that the change would be a $ 310 robbery

This is the manufacturer of the radio used in the US bikes - I assume that they made the radio in your bike as well. Your dealer might call them for clarification of the issues in updating the software. |

DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO VICTORY IN TWO YEARS HAS CHANGED SEVERAL PARTS OF THE MOTORCYCLE WHICH CAN NOT BE UPDATED

Sorry, that we (the members) couldn't have provided you with a better solution.
Perhaps the best solution for you would be to buy the 2010 head unit, and a new compatible 2010 CB. Then sell the 2008 CB unit on your bike to another 08/09 user who is looking to add that capability to their bike but cant because the 2010 units wont work.
