I'm not even sure if that's what it's called, but I prefer the clutch lever to engage MUCH closer to the handgrip. Makes it easier for me with my small hands and short fingers to feather the clutch for slow speed maneuvers. Is there a way to adjust it? I was pretty bummed when I realized only the brake lever was adjustable....but if I could adjust where it engages, that'd help out.

There have been some that carefully bent the lever to lesson the distance. This can be done by placing something solid between the grip and lever close to the pivot then bending the outer part in some. Again, do this carefully as you do not want to break your lever. Also, you could go with a cable set-up, there are some that has done this, and the 8-Ball I believe has it as well.

BTW, ask all the questions you feel you need to ask, they are welcomed.

Well do you have a hydraulic clutch???????????????
Bending the lever would be the only way to go. Use some heat from a torch. Cover the bike really good and get a peace of pipe and put between the grip and the lever and pull on the lever.
Be careful

If you have cable clutch go to dealer and see if they can adjust it at the clutch plates

It bends VERY easy. The trick is not to apply ANY pressure past the notch on the backside about an inch from the end. I adjusted mine perfect, but didn't like that the ball touched the handlebar, which is stupid. I never pull it in that far anyway. I tried to tweak it by bending the end out. I had a rag over it to prevent scratches and completely forgot about the relief. So of course I broke it. When I did it the next time with the new lever it was perfect. If I ever get a new bike I will do the same thing as soon as I get the bike. Made a big differance for me. The photo with the tape measure is the distance after adjustment.

Excellent. I'll carefully bend it next week when I get back. Thanks!

PS - I been thinking and I figured if people are soldering their GPS directly to the wires (instead of paying 100 bucks for a block of aluminum and an adaptor), I'm thinking about buying an ipod cable, and tapping into the wires to put the aux plug right into the ipod cable. I'm hoping that this will result in the capability of having BOTH the ipod plug, and also the aux input (only using one at a time). I'll take pictures and if it pans out, put up my findings. I hope to at least make ONE contribution to the board for my incessant questions!

great post, I've been thinking about this but afraid to try it.  did you heat it up first with a heat gun or anything?

I dont understand why Victory couldnt have put the same style lever on the clutch as they have on the brake. I had a 2004 Kawasaki Mean Streak that had the adjustable levers on both sides and yes it was a hydraulic clutch so there is no real excuse.

the new indians use the same manufacturer as victory and have an adjustable clutch lever like the brake as well.

No heat, but doing it in 30 degree weather might be a bad idea. I am getting a replacement Vision this week. I'll try to video when I do it this time.

Thank you. Now the question, will the Indian adjustable lever fit/work on the Vision? I have a spare Vision clutch lever I got before bending mine, in case I broke it, and there's an Indian dealer not too far from me. Maybe I'll go there one of these days with my spare and see if they have an Indian adjustable in stock and try to compare the two. I can't believe Vic never came out with one, unless maybe shortening the distance the lever travels would not allow the clutch to fully disengage. I wouldn't think this is the case thought since the clutch doesn't engage until the lever is very close to all the way out. I don't care for the short friction zone either.
