Well I was on ebay and bought a Arlen ness air cleaner kit. Paid $ 99 bucks free shipping saved $ 40 bucks and shipping. I hope I spent my money wisely. I guess now in the spring I will have to get a download from victory.
I am in minnesota and the last nice day was wed a high of 54 and thought what the heck lets lower the vision. Not that bad of a job for the most part. I am 5 10 with a 30 inseam so I always hit the the handles on the top of the fenders when I threw my leg over. Not know more my leg goes over with out black and blue marks and when seated my legs are bent with T shoes on. Not knowing what I was doing the job tuck 4 1/2 hours maybe five.
No heat in the garage and today its 37 with fricking snow on the way.
COME ON SPRING

Pittsburgh, PA		the dowload from victory DOESNT cover the top filter. so the download will be even more useless than normal.. I speak from experience... i had the s1l1 with the TOP filter and it was still running LEAN and surgered often.. so i broke down and bought a PC5. now my bike runs GREAT! and they even had the map for my exact setup! the price of the victory map is almost half of the fuel controller and it is only good for that setup (none adjustable) and even then that map has to meet EPA regs so it will instantly be lean right from the start. unlike a fuel controller that YOU control.. i wish i would have never wasted all the time i did on that darn victory fuel map.. i went back to the dealer a few times thinking it cant run like this.. they triple checked it to make sure the map was installed and it was.. he then told me before the map is released to the dealers it has to be EPA approved... once he said that i knew it would be a lean running map..

LaPorte,Tx.		+1 on not getting the Victory map. I would defer that cost and just get a fuel controller. Depending on the type of exhaust you should be in the low 90's RWHP with those mods. How did you lower your Vision?

Did you notice what felt like more seat of the pants power with the PCV? I guess the only thing with the victory download is you should get a higher RMP I think.
Lowering the bike wasn't hard a tall now that I did it. I have a air lift so I put the bike on it and jacket up the back wheel. You need a 6mm socket and on each side of the tire looking forward there are button head alien's like what hold your front fender in place. Take them out. Now undo the bolt that holds the link bar to the swing arm. You need a 17mm or a 11/16 wrench. Now pull the seat and on each side of the link shock opening there is 6mm alien's take them out. Take the nut off the link bar 17mm or 11/16. Now pull the two aluminum side panels covers. From the left side of the bike slid a screwdriver back at the shaft you want to push the shaft out the back side towards the rear tire. Now the link rocker is free and you can take the bolt out and drop the link. I cut "one" inch out of the link that will drop the bike two inches. You don't want to go lower then that. With the link cut in half I thread the tub with a 9/16x12
and went to the hardware store and bought a grad 8 bolt at 4 inches long. I cut off the head and screwed two inches in each end. I did it this way cause my weld is not very good. Seeing how the link bar travels straight up an down with no side movement I will be just fine and it never can un screw it self.
Lube the pivot shaft before going back together. DON"T go off curbs or fast over speed bumps and add a little more air then you think so you don't bottom out.
