New Bohemia, VA | ...on Sonny Barger's new book "Let's Ride". It's already got me hooked and I got a feeling I'll have it finished while on my trip to Wisconsin and back, flying unforunetly. I already recommend that anyone who is thinking of riding, or just starting to ride, to stop riding, read the book, heed, and then get back on when your done.
oh, and right up front in the book he uses the...get this...a Victory Vegas as a comparison in buying a new car as cheaper. A Victory Vegas...now if that ain't a plug for Victory I don't what is...
Later on in the book (I had to do a search, it's a digital book from Borders) he talks about his Victory Vision...I have to remember, I got mine before he got his...

New Bohemia, VA | a quote from the book talking about V-twin motors "I can tell you from tens of thousands of miles of experience that Victory engines seem to run cooler in stop and go traffic than Harley enignes, which is one of the things I like about Victory motorcycles." He says this right after he has explained the way manufacturers try to reduce heat in the motors, Harley by shutting down the rear cyclinder at idle and Victory by spraying oil on the inside of the piston where the most heat is generated. Okay, I'll be quiet now, it's just a good book to read, and easy to read. |
