Not being big on conversation and having been on other forum sites, "ab bike board" Kawasaki Voyager site, I joined this forum mainly for knowledge I can gain on the Vision. That would lead me to explain how I came to own my 08 Vision. Just let me say, " deer are STUPID animals." Just briefly, me and my Voyager traveling down dual lane, divided highway just as night falls. Two deer one in each lane, no way to avoid them except between them. It was working until the second deer had a change of heart and ran into ME. I went down at about 50mph and slid on my back 120 odd feet. Other than a couple of bruises no harm done thanks to riding gear and helmet.
Well the Kaw was a total. The hunt was on. It had to be a touring bike and probably a Wing until I remembered riding a Vision a year or so back. Ride one you'll own one is true. To conclude I think this site will be what I am looking for and I know The Vision is probably the best machine I have ever ridden. Look forward to reading your thoughts about the Vision. Thanks!

Thanks kris. I have the grey VV too. Got it in Oct '12 but was able to rack up 1000 miles before it got cold in Indiana.

Test ride a Wing then a Vision. Not a couple of miles, but a couple of hours. And on the same day so you get a good back to back comparison. That way you can truely appreciate the differences. Whichever one you like better is the one you should get. They are both great bikes so you cannot choose wrong. After 2 hours riding each I bet you pick the Vision.

I guess I should have added that I did get a used 08 Vision last Oct. from dealer in Terre Haute. Put 1000 miles on it before the cold hit. Come on spring.

Congrats. What color did you get? There are a few of us Visioners around. VVT is just a bit north of you in Anderson, I'm up here in Peru and williex (or willieh?...Bill) is over in Huntington. We'll all have to get together and ride sometime this spring (which is right around the corner!).
