Has anyone had to replace the rear schock yet? mine has been leaking for a few days and i am still riding it. if anyone has had it replaced how much was it $$$? I only have 10000 miles on it i just think it is odd that it needs to be replaced.

Right at the bottom of the shock where it bolts to the frame. it looks like a light carmel looking oil.

I had the same problem or so I thought. It turned out to be oil from the filter change that did not get cleaned well. Have you checked your pressure to be sure that its the shock. You might wanna go there first.

Do you mean the valve in the saddle bag on the clutch side? I guess i did not know that the "air bag" and the shock were connected.

Yep they are one in the same. If you are holding pressure, I doubt it is the shock leaking. Just something to look at. I still have my doubts on mine and check it regularly, and have not found anymore oil after a good cleaning.

I had my rear shock replaced under warranty last year after about 8,000 miles. Mine was leaking a very light oil and would continually lose air pressure.

When it came off the bike, dealer said it would hold pressure off the bike but it was leaking oil substantially.

Victory came back that I had probably caused this due to continued use at very low pressure but since it was a demo bike, they covered it under warranty. Not sure if they would have argued but I am a big guy, nearly 300 lb plus usually ride with my wife, so we normally run about 50+ psi. So not really sure if anything contributed to the problem.

Yes I had the same problem. They put a new one in for me at MOM?s. I think I had about 35k on the bike at the time.
