When I was buying my Vision I checked out the YouTube clips of the Vision being let down onto its frame and then lifted up again and I thought "oh yeah, interesting". Then a couple of days ago I made a mistake on a badly cambered, overly smooth, cross over, on a highway and took off while turning with not much (but still too much) throttle. In an instant the back wheel passed me and we spun 3 or 4 metres along the tarmac and did a 180, all on its side. On any other sort of bike I would have blown a couple of grand on mirrors, fairing, covers, pipes or just chrome guards. On the Vision I spent about 5 minutes with a file the next morning to smooth out the edges and there is "no visible damage", so I am a couple of grand ahead on buying a Vision already. It is brilliant. I don't plan on dropping it again, but when moving around on sand or slippery car parks I am no longer worried about slipping and going down.

Good information. I hope you take a Motorcycle Safety Course, the intent is not to slip and go down. I'm just saying, but it does save the biking, having done all you can to manuever and it does go down.

Our tipovers were christened yesterday. We came to a smooth stop, I momentarily lost my balance and down we went on the left side.
No harm done to the rider, passenger or Vision. The tipovers are priceless.
