Wow, I didn't know I would create so much passion, hostility and debate. Apologies to everyone. Unfortunately, I thought it was a relatively safe and simple question.

I appreciate everyone's responses.

Uhhhh, what about the oil???? (just kidding, really )

(it's not a Honda)

Your right, its not a Honda, but in my experience with both... The wing was the less reliable of the two...

I bought the Vision because its the best damn touring bike currently available. I have no issues with the saddle bags, I fit everything I need for a week long trip in them. Sure a little more space would be nice but that would just mean I would carry more stuff I don't need.

donetracey - 2010-07-31 7:25 PM And you're also forgetting - when your Vision is loaded properly, there is NO room for the Co-pilot to stash anything she buys. I KNOW this because I had to say "THERE'S NO ROOM" to her 10 times today on the Oregon Coast..... Saved me a ton of money!!!

Just a follow up.... so I hit the border coming home and stop at the Duty Free. And they have 1.4 L Vodka on at $20 for TWO !!!!

Can't resist - buy 'em. Pull around to the pick-up zone - open the trunk and put 'em in - THEY FIT !!!!!

So Co-Pilot couldn't buy even the smallest souvenir of our trip - but I got my Vodka ! Yee-Haw !

The trunk can also hold 2 gallon containers of Orange Juice. Anyone need a Screwdriver?

How does UPS-ing your purchased items home save money?

She didn't think of that until some big-mouth on a GoldWing told her in Portland. It was too late by then (for that trip) - but I fear for the future.
