I am looking at getting the cb but i do not like the location of the antenna on the side of the tour pack. Has anyone thought of relocating it some other place down lower(some what like the location of the radio antenna on the HD STREET GLIDE. Thanks, Possible delivery in April , 7 months of wait, so I am trying to get everything done from what i have read on this great site.

I plan to mount my CB in a location other than under the tour pack as I don't plan on using the tour pack. This is what I plan to use for the antennae mount.

Having it on the side of the tour pack causes it to get in the way of mounting a duffel bag on the luggage rack.  You can't hang the duffel bag over the left and right sides without it contacted the CB antenna.  The HD's put it behind the luggage rack which eliminates this problem.

Before my trunk arrived, I stuffed my CB/intercom behind the seat/under the cover for the trunk. It barely fits in there, but it CAN be done. I am sure you could locate the antenna nearly anywhere near it.-----Metalguy
