I would like to put down on how my very first trip with my vision to the Texas Big Bend area went. I live in Wylie, Texas and the round trip was 1,568 miles. I had some issues and I have a ton of photos of the trip. Loved the way the bike rode, I did have some issues and would like some advice on how to get these corrected. My girlfriend flew down from Michigan so that she could go on this run. Her daughter is the one that hooked us up together, and her husband owns a Harley Ultra Classic. The group that we rode with were with the Panther Creek Harley club. They joked about my bike and called it the Starship Enterprise and me Capt Kirk. That is ok I didn't mind because I feel I had the better bike...oh and one of the Harley Ultra's broke down, and my girlfriends son-in-laws ultra was having problems also. I did not have any mechanical issues at all, the bike performed great. The problem was with the intercom, CB, and radio. There was one other issue, I am a Disabled Vet, that is why I picked the Vision Tour premium. I found that when I was loaded or when I got tired I had trouble picking the bike up off of the kickstand, because it leans way over. Is there a way to fix this so it doesn't lean so far over? Let me know how I can put my trip down and load the pics up from the trip. I would love to contribute to this site. I am also planning a cross country trip with this bike and would love to post that as well.
