Great Seat, Leather unlike the stock vinyl
The driver sits higher in the back (you really now don't have a need of a backrest since its built in) but seat does already have the slit built in to add a driver backrest, has a nice arlen ness stich design

Way more comfort than the stock seat (i'm 6'3", 280 lbs)

Best of all I paid $279 via a Victory Dealership (brand new)

PS- not a heated seat, but don't need it that often since I live in Florida

Ok folks...figured out the deal on this. Talked to Pete at Volusia Motorsports.

This is deal is NOT the part # 2684151 Ness seat. This deal is for part # 2684354 which is STILL a Ness seat.

Apparently the 2010 Ness seat IS different from the 2009 Ness seat. Different padding, stitching and design. The 2010 Ness seat is part # 2684354 which retails for $329 and Pete is offering 15% off retail.

WOW...  What a rip for the 2010 Ness owners.  Here is a pic of the 2010 Ness seat and a pic of the 2009 Ness seat.  You can clearly see the 2010 seat is Vinyl.  The price is too low to be leather as well.  The Vision leather touring seat is $900 (with a drivers backrest).  Last years Ness seat was almost $800 (without a backrest).

The big problem I have with this is that the MSRP for the Ness Vision stayed the same for 2010 but now it comes with a vinyl seat?

WOW! After posting these pics side by side, I also noticed there is no provision for rider or passenger backrests... It really just looks like a stock vinyl seat that they stuck under a sewing machine to sew in a pattern on the seating area....

Turbo, which seat did you recieve???

I went to my local shop today to look at the 2010 ness and the seat does look much better than mine on my '08..and it does have the slot for the backrest.

On the Victory home page, the 2009 Ness Vision says leather stitched seat, the 2010 Ness Vision does not say leather and shows the picture of the seat found on the 2009 model. From the pictures above it appears to me that the 2010 version is not leather.

I do gotta say that I really like this new seat option. For the price it doesn't look like it can be beat as far as design and quality and such. Its on my short list for upgrades.

I picked one up this weekend at the dealership, it's a bit lower and stiffer than the stock seat. The down side it that it has no heat (The wife). This seat puts the top of the wind shield right in my line of sight.

I am assuming if you do not care about the stitching you could just get the 8-ball seat..might be a little cheaper..but I have not checked..

can you get one with heat? I don't see it anywhere so I am assuming no...but I thought I should at least ask. Colorado can be HOT one minute and BRRRRRR COOOOOOLD the next!

ElroyJ, no bud no heat option on either the Ness or 8-Ball seats. You could order up the parts to add it yourself.
After eye balling and riding on mine I'm leaning towards the possibility parts of the saddle are leather, mainly the sitting area. Of course I'm unwilling to tear the cover off to confirm, lol... The saddle is stiffer than stock, lower but has a real nice feel to it. Seems to be breaking in quickly so I'll know more on comfort in a couple weeks. Oh and I o believe the Ness seat is a little different than the 8-ball seat in more ways than stitching.
