I have a suction cup holder attched to the inside of the windshield. I work in a pretty safe area, and never remove it. I have 4 EZ passes. One for the truck, a 3 for the motorcycles. If the wife is coming to the island to visit, she needs to get one off one of the bikes I am not riding that day.

Interesting that it works from in there. Any other mounting options without spending a fortune on ugly mounts?

Have mine velcroed to the bottom of the windshield.
Stays there all the time and when I lower the windshield,
it gets locked in so it can't be removed/stolen...

I tried several different locations.

Inside glove box, jacket pocket, holding in my teeth. I even velcroed it to the underside of the headlight bucket...

All were intermittent hit/miss. The lovely Commiewealth of Mass gives you 2 free passes if it doesn't register, then it charges you a buck everytime thereafter. Customer service specifically states that there is no guarantee that the pass will work, it is up to the driver to look for the light.

I know have it velcored to the top of the GPS unit. This avoid the solar glare if it was on the windshield (IMO).

So far, so good

The really scary part is that while trucking my broke harley back from sturgis a few years ago the ez pass in the back of an enclosed herts truck in the trip trunk of the harley registered and i was charged the tolls and we can't make them work in our teeth. go figure.

Another option is go to Bed, Bath & Beyond. They sell an EZ PASS transponder holder with suction cups. The transponder slips into the shell and then can be mounted to the windshield. Works really well and it's secure. I move it back and forth between my bike and the car. Costs about 5 bucks. Vince.

Use my old magnetic tank bag on the dash. center pouch for the ezpass and fill the rest with cell, wallet, sunglasses, etc. Two plastic clips that came with my riding gloves hold it to the dash just fine.

On the dash works fine for me.

An EZ Pass story. Last year, when I requested the EZ Pass for my motorcycle (from EZ Pass NY), I specifically asked for a Motorcycle transponder (some tolls are less for motorcycles than cars). Last month, I was heading down to the Outer Banks, on Route 168 in Virginia. There is one toll on that highway that is easily bypassed, saving the $2 toll. Before the exit, I saw that the motorcycle toll was .50, so I said heck with it and went through the toll. When I looked at my account a few days later, I was charged the car rate of $2, so I sent customer service an email asking what's up. Their response was two parts, first, I had a car transponder, not a motorcycle one, and second, even if I had a motorcycle one, Virginia would have still charged me $2, because to get the motorcycle price, you have to either pay cash, or have a Virginia motorcycle toll plan! WTF! When I asked them why they sent me a car transponder when I asked for a motorcycle one, they were nice enough to offer to swap it out. The new one has a big "M" on the windshield side, so it can be seen through the window that it's a motorcycle unit.
