I'm runiing L1S1 and thinking about moving on to try the Thundersticks. They sound good on You Tube but has anyone got comments on their overall noise on the highway. Do they drone, rap off or are they similar to the L1S1 at a constant highway speed?

Thx in advance.

I rode with a vision last weekend with them installed. They were louder than my S1L1 to the point where I could hear the bike in the pack, sounded good. However the bike had the worst case of loud popping almost like a backfire, all day long. I did not ask how the bike was set up.

I have the t-sticks on my 08 Vision.. running the cams, intake and VFC. I also have the IAV. when I installed the tsticks, obviously the sound was much improved, the backfired were no more in number than the s1l1's..........just LOUDER. I have since installed the IAV and sealed up the joints on the exhaust at every clamp. The backfires are few and far between now. I have listened to Atom bombs, had S1L1, listened and road s1l2 and Honkers. nothing came close to the sweet sound of the sticks. I highly recommend. good luck
