I just purchased one of these after I looked into others. I have a VTX1800 and looking to sell and get a Victory Vision. I wanted to make sure I had something for my new bike that worked. It is very cool. I get a text message and email if my bike moves. I can go online and see where it is and where it has been. I hardly ever trust anyone with my bike but I let a friend test ride it the other day and set a speed limit of 75 so if he got too crazy I would know. I got a text message telling me he was doing 86mph and where he was when he did it.
I will always have one of these on my bikes now. I almost bought a Lojack but found out that it only works in less than 5% of the country...what a joke.....and Lojack is twice the price......no brainer for me. Good luck varyder !

I know Foremost only gives a discount for LoJack for me. Of course, I would have to carry my cellphone and have it on all the time with this unit and anyone that knows me knows that's not going to happen.
As long as it works for you.

Hey Redrider.....you might want to look into Lojack some more. It hardly works anywhere and HOW do you know it is working. YOU DONT.
Check out their website. It is only good in PARTS of 27 states...thats it. Its on their website and thieves know this. I did my research before i purchased and I paid half what LoJack is for my unit and i know it works because it tells me it does.
Most people that have cell phones keep them with them...especially when traveling and a lot of states give discounts on Insurance for these. I have Allstate and I got 20% on mine.
Good luck with that Lojack my brother !!

Well...well....have you ever bought something wandering if you would ever use it or if you wasted your $$$$$$.....well...I went away for Xmas and had my bike in the garage. I have this FIN Security System on my bike and I got a text message saying my bike was being moved. I freaked out so I called my neighbor to have them check it out. Sure enough my side garage door was open with a shattered glass where someone had broken in.....my neighbor must have scared them off as nothing was missing and the door from my garage to my kitchen was locked and not opened. I am not sure if they were trying to steal my bike or something else but they got nothing and I am hoping it was because my neighbor scared them off. It could have been worse if I didn't have this FIN System on my bike. I called Find It Now and told them what happened and they told me that this was the 3rd call this week of someone breaking into a garage with a bike stored in it. All 3 times the scumbags got nothing.......Merry Xmas a...hole....lol

Thanks for sharing that it worked. Hopefully they'll catch them at something else and be locked up. I never think of a bike actually getting stolen but it happens. A guy that I work with had a crotch rocket over a year ago. He had just taken up riding and loved to ride and was looking forward to riding. Then his bike got stolen out of his locked garage, he was heartbroken. He's not got another bike as of yet as it just hasn't fit into his budget again though he's working toward it. I'm going to look into getting something as I don't have indoor storage as of yet. Blows me away that a scumbag will take a bike, to me that is more personal.

VTX-Man, Glad to hear that your system prevented some serious loss. You need to contact the homeowners insurance carrier and get a discount for the alarm system.

Happy New Year

Thanks for the thought there lennyb......I live in Florida where I have no choice for Insuranace carriers...it is State Funded and they jab me pretty hard becuase of sinkholes in the county i live in and they are the ONLY Provider I can use. They don't give out discounts...I don't think they can even spell "Discount"...lol....anyway....I do get a 20% discount on my bike Insurance though......thanks for the comment.......$65 for replacement window is all it cost me and what they hell...I have a new window now. I am glad a bought this Find It Now Security System though......check it out ..its pretty cool...Happy New year to ya !

VTX man Can you post a link to FIN? Sounds like a cool gadget to have. It certainly paid for its self in your case. Thanks.

Hey King Bagger...sorry...been away for a few days. I cut & pasted a link below. It is pretty cool. I think I am going to buy one for my teenage daughter....I don't know why you can't put one on a car. Its not like they can tell what it is on anyway. It tells you every time it moves and I can tell how fast she goes, etc.....she just turned 18 and it might help me sleep better at night.....I think they are $595 ?????

Got some info from someone on this forum for the Scorpio Alarm System. They make a wiring harness for the Vision. $300-$400+ depending on the added options.

That Find it Now looks like it would be a good investment. If you break it down over 10 years, that is only $50 a year.

Hey guys...if anyone is interested I found this site that is running a deal on the FIN Security System. I belong to BikerOrNot.com. It is a social networking site. They apparently are working and promoting FIN and it is now running $399.00 if you mention BikerOrNot.com. I paid $200 more for mine.....oh well.....it saved me more than the $200 already so I can't bitch too much.....best Theft System I ever had..........lucky me....just a little FYI if anyone interested......it refers you to www.bikeusagps.com.....Ride Safe !!
