Went for a nice ride in the sunshine today in the Olympic City of Vancouver.

Saw the REAL Olympic Flame and lots of bikes out on the road enjoying the spring weather.

All of our spring flowers are out - including Cherry Blossoms - stuff we normally don't see until April....

Sorry, you poor Easterners - still shovelling....

Your lucky to have a early spring.

Were getting snow here in Wisconsin.

Usually get the first short ride in the end of March.

I have found out some of what you northern neighbors go through in not being about to ride the past two weeks. I can chuckle with you as well as it seems the polar ice cap has shifted to Virginia and the equator to Canada. I broke out the bike yesterday evening after 16 days, the longest spell I've had in over two years except when the bike was being held hostage for warranty issues.

The pics looks great Don, and the trees are very nice back drop, however something (someone) is missing from the pictures.

we've gotten so used to seeing Yuki in your pictures, it's not the same without her!

Gary - check out the thread called "mirrors" - just do a search - you will find reference to the supplier/maker - was quite a long time back.

Chris - I never get to ride without Yuki - she is more like an "Accessory" now, than a Co-Pilot !

Quite handy to fetch, take pictures, load and unload, look pretty in restaurants and on the pilon. Nice to 'talk' to as well for an Old Fart....

Here 'ya go Rick.

They've got the Flame behind Chain-link fence - this is as close as we could get. Apparently, they are working on something a bit 'friendlier'....

Hey Don

Great Pics!!! I am here on the island biting at the bit to get back on the road. I have the bike somewhat apart and waiting to get some parts back from powder coating, but, then I will be soon back on the road...
