The lens is glued to the rest of the light assembly. It will not come off separately.

I had to change my left one due to a stone hole. The signal lights come out as an assembly, you can get them out without taking the front wings off of the bike but it is an ordeal. The two lower bolts are the challenge, I was able to get the lower outside bolt out by getting my hand down behind the signal light assembly with a ? inch drive ratchet, the lower inside bolt was removed by using a ? drive ratchet and several long extensions through the area where the handle bars come up through the console in front of the storage box on the left side and the fuel hatch if you are changing the right

Well guys, I cant find these lower bolts at all!??
I have a top 6mm out, and two black 10mm bolts out. All 3 of these on the outer end of the fairing, On the inner it appears held in by the headlight assy some how.

I can see no bolts under the lens assy by looking thru the handlebar opening nor can I feel any??

HELP?

As I recall you have to remove the speaker covers and lift them up out of the way. You should be able to get your hand down behind the signal assembly to feel the bolt, which secures the signal assembly to the headlight assembly

Thanks Radioteacher and nice rides.
I
ll look at the manual tonight and see how the speaker grills come off. As long as i dont have to remove the upper wings or cowlings I am good to go. After that its too much.

I did manage to get the rear tip overs off and they are at the paint shop now getting ready for a gloss black and clear coating.
The LH one was a matter of removing the heat shield, the 2 6mm bolts and the 23mm( i think) nut. The assy slid right off.
On the RH side I had to remove the upper 2 body pieces that some have chrome right below the seat and then i undid the screws along the panel below the bag lids (they are off allready. Had to really wiggle to get it out but with the two heat shields off its just a time thing.

They will look great in black and eventually wo will the signals.
