Has anybody removed rubber cones behind air filter? If so what were the results such as better air flow increase in mpg horsepower? Stock Vision

The rubber cones are supposed to help airflow on a STOCK Vision. It appears to be there to increase air density coming through the intake. That is until it is disrupted by a twin air intake, then it may hinder the intake and can be removed. I kept mine until after I upgraded to the twin air intake. KevinX removed it when he did my camz.

They are right behind the air cleaner, inside the frame/airbox.

and yes they are on the 2008s..
