Good for you Van! That is great news and I would say you are being a good steward of your hard earn money by buying a Vision.

The Vision as been the best purchase of my life and I am sure it will be the same for you.

Live long a prosper.

I felt the same way when I got the Goldwing. Now that I've tested the Vision, I feel that I've stepped up to the big show!

I liked the Wing but the Vision felt real good when I was riding it (better than the Wing). It's a done deal. I just need to decide which one (based on the deal that I get).

Where are you getting buying it? Have you checked out Victory-Suzuki (formerly American Cycles Center) near Birmingham? Tremendous people there now and absolutely great support from them.  Tell them Elton sent you to them and it may help.  I have the first Vision they ever sent out the door and they have taken care of me.

Mongo, good luck on your choice. There are a lot of good discounts on Visions out there.

Well, I've decided to get the Comfort Cherry with an upgraded Exhaust and a trunk panel.
Jeff has one new in the Crate for me.  I go up to Cumming to sign the papers Tuesday.

Mongo, mine sorta went down the same way. I had planned to swing one in the spring of '08 and even had a deposit for one. I had just picked up the GL1500 from the shop for new tires and rear bushing and carb cleaning. This was on November 16, 2007 and I was concerned that I could not handle the wife unit on the GL1500, but I was still riding. The dealer called that morning and said that one that a Vision on reserve from a special order was available, I sadly said no, I have to wait. I picked up the GL1500 at the shop in the afternoon, and determined I could not let the wife ride me, expressing my concern to the wife. The wife said "go get the Vision." I called the dealer back and was told the bike was still available and I took delivery the very next day. I was so ready to hit the road, the tech going over the checklist with me sounded like the adults on Charlie Brown, "whomp, whomp, whomp". Congrats...

Yup, Me too.

Why is it after we spend $$ on the bike we want to sell it?

I just had the GL1800 inspected, replaced the front tire and had the fork fluid replaced.  After doing all that, I never expecting to put the bike up for sale, let alone find a buyer with in a week.
