I'm interested in the cross roads , it would appear the rider back rest for it is the same one used in the whole range, could anyone tell me if its adjustable for height and angle , also does it fall forward to enable easy access for the pillion

Surely someone must have a rider backrest on their bike. ?????

If you do a search here on back rest or Utopia back rest you'll find a ton of info on it. Several people have them and love them. One or two didn't. I don't have one, so I can't directly answer your question.

If you are only talking about the Victory backrest then I cannot help you, but if you are considering the Utopia backrest as well, then I'll say it is a fantastic product. It has a very large back pouch and is adjustable both up and down, as well as the angle. It will fall forward to allow for the pillion to have easy access. I was having issues with my stock seat until I put the Utopia backrest on and now those issues have disappeared. After getting back from a 3100 mile trip I can easily say that it is one of the best add-ons I have ever put on the bike.

Meh... I have the Utopia and it's OK. The problem with the Utopia is it's pivot point. Unless you have it adjusted WAY forward, it pivots back too much and your only catching the very bottom of the backrest. I sat on a Vision with the leather seat with the included drivers backrest and it was much more supportive to the mid to lower back area and it doesn't pivot backwards like the Utopia. The Vic backrest also tilts and hinges forward to allow easy access for the passenger to get on the "queen's throne". The Utopia backrest is HUGE, but like I mentioned earlier, it only contacts you at on it's lower edge unless you adjust it way forward. The Vic backrest is much smaller (also includes a storage pouch), but seems to support me in the exact spot I need and supports the entire area of the backrest not just the bottom edge of the backrest.

That being said, the Utopia us around $200 and the Vic leather seat with one backrest included is $800. Big difference...

The big question for me is, I have the Utopia quick release mount in my seat.  Will the Vic backrest slide into the Utopia quick release?  If it does, I have a very low mileage Utopia backrest for sale.  All you need to buy is the quick release mount...

The Victory backrest has limited adjustability but it doesn't fall forward. If you want to know more about it go to the Corbin site and look at their backrest features, its the same. Hope this helps

I don't see why not. I use the Utopia backrest and would have room for the Saddleman behind me.
