I have them . Made a mistake, and bought the ones about 1.25" diameter, and they're nearly unusable. The rectangles, about 1.5" x 2.25" would be a much better use.

I use the 1 1/4 convex, and they are adjustable, they work great for me. Got them at Pepboys.

I also have one of the 1.25" mirror spots - and yeah it's useless.

The muth mirrors look like they would work well - but unfortunately they are hideous looking.

Anyone hooked up a camera on the back of a Vision? The screen could be mounted on the dash.

Now that would be neat-

I went with the ones shown in the photo. They are Hercules and are an "add-on" for towing vehicles. You can get them through the Auto-sport catalog. They are an easy, easy install. I also have a 1" riser on my handlebars, which makes the stock mirrors far more effective, in that I am not looking primarily at my knuckles in the stock mirror. rickster

I use spot mirrors. I have 1" ones on both mirrors. I use them to alert me that there is something there not to identify what it is so they are prefect for that. It really doesn't matter to me if there is a Yugo or an 18 wheeler there I am not pulling into that lane. )

I use the auto sports and yes they do vibrate at over 60mph, but the benefit comes in local traffic being able to see more vehicles than the flats. More information makes for a better decision on lane changes, merges, and people passing you.

I have used the maxi view mirrors for two years. They are great, fully adjustable and you can turn them vertical or horizontal. I have them in the upper street side corners of the standard mirrors. Trust me, if you have them adjusted properly, you will never have to turn your head again to check for traffic.

Once you put them on they are stuck on, the easy way to remove if you have to is use a fishing line to cut through the adhesive and then replace.

They are pricey, but well worth it.

I use the 1.5" from the local discount stores RV sections (aka Wal-Mart). I've used them on every vehicle I've owned for the last several years now. One thing to note is that you won't be reading anyones tag numbers in them but you'll definitely be able to see if someones creeping up beside you in the next lane with just a quick glance. I highly recommend them for freeway/interstate rides.

Camera is an excellent idea - i checked out jc whitney and a few other sites. Most do not appear to be "wide angle" though and I wonder about sunlight. It would be easy to plug into cigarette lighter or hardware.

Anyone tried this?

I installed the rectangular wedge mirrors from autozone and they are great. Helps to eliminate blind spots.
