Centennial, CO | Ok...I am getting really tired of hearing my dealer saying he has to flash the computer each time a new item is installed such as the CB or the cable for the IPHONE...etc. I have been considering the XM install and I am telling you that in NO PLACE do the instructions say ANYTHING about flashing the chipset to ensure it will work.
So, I went and looked at the CB install instructions again. NOPE...nothing there either.
Is this a load of BS from them or is there something that is NOT in the install manual that we should be aware of?

Gainesville Fl Home of the Gators | You got to do it, or the stuff will not integrate with the programing. There have been to many updates since the bikes, and parts hit the street. I did a CB a couple of weeks ago that could not even be used in the end. It's low level programing could not be updated to the current stuff. |

My issue is that the rear (passenger) comms do not work with the headset. I can hear the person talking but they cannot hear the driver. They are also able to transmit on the CB but again, cannot hear. They cannot even hear the music through the headset.
Is this the type of issue you ran into a couple of weeks ago? I am hoping not! |

Centennial, CO | BTW - Thank you for getting back to me on this issue. I was beginning to think it was bunk.
Hopefully they will have the passenger side fixed today.
