If anyone out there is looking for a set of brand new Wrath billet wheels from Performance Machine (made them for Victory) you really need to look on ebay. There is a set on there right now with a starting price of $625 per set and 0 bids. These wheels sell through Victory for $1200 each (which is absolutly crazy) and cost the dealers almost $800 each. The seller goes by hd_parts_trader and is actually someone at PM that sells obsolete inventory. I know this because I bought the first set that came up about a month ago. The second set was bought by a friend of mine 10 days later with the same result. The communication after the sale and the shipped from address are all from Performance Machine. The wheels are new in the box and come complete with bearings and are ready to be installed.
I hope this post dosen't make any avid ebay watcher upset, but since 2 sets have sold in the last month for the asking price (no one else bid) I'm going to assume that either no one is interested or no one knows about it. It is not my intent to start a feeding frenzy I only wish to get the word out to anyone that is interested in a good deal on wheels. Like I said, this is the 3rd set that has been on ebay in the last month and the first 2 sets sold for the asking price of $625. It may be the last set or there may be 20 more............there is no way to know.

If anyone here is planning on bidding on these wheels please let me know. Because I plan on bidding on them and I really don't want to bid against a fellow site member.

ALL
Keep in mind I am not selling these and have nothing to do with selling these. I bought the first pair and a friend of mine (I told him about them) bought the second pair. We both bought them for the asking price of $625 set and no one bid against either one of us. Since that was the case I assumed no one was interested, thought it was to good to be true, or didn't know they were on ebay. When I saw the 3rd set on ebay with 0 bids I thought I should let my fellow vision riders know about them. If you have any questions about my buying experience, the wheels themselves, or anything else feel free to call my cell phone. 319-470-3310. If you want to see them on my bike look under Big Vic in the gallery. The last three pictures show my bike after the wheels were installed.

Jump on it and post us some pics. These look like nice wheels. Was thinking about it decided the Cams are going to be enough for me short term (thank you for letting us know Big Vic). I'm watching them on My eBay just to kinda see where the auction goes. I'd like to see you win em.
Good luck,
-Will

Great info, Ive been contemplating new wheels since i bought my Vision. I think the price for wheels is outrageous, but since that cannot be changed, ya have to move on. The real reason is if you look at the Wheels on the Vision, you dont really see much of them. You can barely see the rear wheel at all. Unlike my kingpin which was all wheel, Im still finding it difficult to swallow 1400.00 for a wheel where you only see maybe 1/3 of it at best. What do the rest of you think? Interested to hear others opinions

Yes they are polished and not chromed. They look great now but will dull some after a while. My wife has a pair of PM wheels on her Kingpin and they still look good after 40,000 miles. I usually wax them once a year during the winter.

You are correct in saying that you don't see much of the wheels compared to many bikes, however there is a significant difference when one with and one without sit side by side. I saw this first hand a few weeks ago when my bike was sitting next to my friends stock Vision. When I put the new wheels on I removed the belt guard which really opened up the rear wheel and pulley. Take a look at the before wheel and after wheel pictures in my gallery to see if you agree.

Yeah, I noticed that too, espcially on the rear wheel. no matter what you do with it, you're not gonna notice it much. That's the main reason I won't buy a chrome pulley. Evidently, you can't even tell the bikes pulley driven unless you look for it under the saddlebags. I think that's why I kept being asked if it was shaft driven by various passers by. I would definately take a look at the Ness trimmed front fender if I spent the $ on wheel upgrades. In fact, I took my front fender off to trailer the bike in my pickup once and thought it was a nice look. If it wasn't for fear of throwing chunks of road debris in the oil cooler, I'd just leave it off. I really think its a nice look and makes cleaning the front wheel a hell of a lot easier. Add to that some nice shiney wheels and I think you'd have a winner. The real wheel would one of those nice "10 ft" details people would notice after looking at it up close. Come to think of it, baggers in general have hidden drives and rear wheels. Maybe that's why a lot of the custom bagger guys buy great big wheels to put on the front of the bagger bikes in magazines?

So who is the proud owner of the new billet wheels? Post some pictures when you get them installed.
