Marysville Washngton | Anyone put mud flaps on the Vision yet? I did a search and did not find anything. If so, where did you get them and any install tips? |

Richmond, Virginia | I installed the front flap extension. Good investment easy install really keeps my engine and front end cleaner. Not familiar with a rear flap though. |

northwest florida | I have a Marvin the Martian flap on the back. I was kidded about my "spaceship" so it was the only way to go. I took an old tire flap I had laying around and cut it down to fit. I might look into the front flap that dwhite is talking about. |

I see you need to drill 3 holes too. I know they can't majically stay in place, but I would hate to drill a perfectly fine fender.
For those that do install, please post us some pics.

Houston, Texas | I put one on the STARSHIP about six months ago, takes about ten minutes to remove the front fender then I used two spring clamps to hold the 'flap' in placed and drilled the holes. Bolted it up and another ten minutes to reinstall the fender. Total 30 minutes.
I have noticed a difference in the amount of dirt (less) on the front of the engine/battery.

Did that flap some with some rust proof stainless steel bolts, or did you provide that. What was used, and do you like the looks?

Houston, Texas | I used the hardware that was included and have noticed that they are starting to rust....will be replacing them with SS.
Actually I really don't even notice it anymore, its made from the same material as the rear section of the fender and it has just blended in.

Richmond, Virginia | Just a note, when i got mine and positioned it as the instructions stated, i noticed that it was a bit short. I lowered mine down about 3/4 " lower to give more protection. there is no alteration in the mounting procedure but it does a great job. |

New Bohemia, VA | I ordered one for drag specialities for both front and rear. I did the front tonight and I think it looks good. It was the medium size with the MIA flag on it. The rear is the same but it will take more work, but looks easy to do.

New Bohemia, VA | Okay, here's the front installed. Using the flap as a template,
1. I placed it on the inside and found the height that I wanted and centered the center hole on the rear part of the front fender.
2. After drilling the center hole I mounted the mudflap using just the center bolt and marked the outer bolts from that, then removed the mudflap.
3. Drilled the holes for the outer bolts, but first made sure that it was a straight distant from the edge to the center of the hole.
4. After drilling those holes, remounted the flap on the inside using the screws and nuts supplied, but put washers to the inside that was not supplied.
5. Replaced the fenders and I was done.
